  What a waste of money. Poor quality of meat. Spent $60 on four items all right into the trash. You could tell the meat was old and chewy. Wouldn't recommend.

  Meat Quality: 8/10 (Good) Staff Knowledge: 4/10 (Poor) Selection: 6/10 (Average) Price: 10/10 (Excellent) Healthy Meat: 6/10 (Somewhat dubious) This place is alright if you're looking for something that appears to be healthier than what you'll find in your average grocery store. Personally I find the meat at Pasture to Plate and Sumas Mountain farms slightly more delicious. More importantly though, I was disappointed in the knowledge of the staff at Meridian Meats. I asked two questions, first if the beef was grass-fed AND grass-finished. I was put on hold while the employee went to ask. Her response didn't convince me that they really knew what the difference was. I would expect employees of a butcher-shop to know this information off-hand rather than have to go and ask a manager. My second question was about what type of food was given to their chickens. I was told that they had never been asked that question and that a manager would have to call me back. Three weeks later still no phone call. If you're looking for something healthier than what you'll find in Superstore, this is a great and relatively affordable choice. However if you're a stickler for healthy, humane, and locally raised meats, I'd look elsewhere.

  we had an issue (1st ever) with some wings we purchased and the staff was eager to rectify the situation. One young man went above and beyond to make sure we had the best customer service experience. They will continue to be our go to for meats for years to come!!

  I love this place. The quality of the meats and seafood blows away anything you'll ever find in a grocery store. The pricing is extremely reasonable as well, especially if you take advantage of combo deals and weekly specials.
